REGISTRATION AND YOUR ACCOUNT
When you first visit the My Animal Family website, you will be asked to register your child by making up a user name and password. You should not use personal information that can identify your child when selecting a user name. As part of the registration process, you will be asked certain questions about you or your child that will help us to identify your account in case you forget your password or secret identification number. The only personal information we collect is your child's first name, your state of residence and your child's birthday.

You will also be asked to enter the secret code card number found in the My Animal Family book to activate the featured animal's "habitat" (i.e. game site).

It is important that you keep your user name, password and secret code in a safe place offline. Each time your child visits the My Animal Family website, he or she will be required to enter this information to access a habitat. If this information is forgotten or misplaced, your secret code card number will get you on the web site. If you forget your password and lose the secret code card, you may still get on the website by answering the questions you were asked upon registration. If you answer those questions correctly, you will be permitted access to the website.

REGISTRATION PERIOD AND RENEWALS
Once you register your child and you activate a habitat (by entering in the secret code card number) as outlined above, access to the animal habitat will be valid for twelve (12) months following the date that the habitat is activated ("Registration Period"). You may extend or renew this Registration Period and continue to keep the habitat activated for another year by paying an annual "Renewal Fee." Your new Registration Period will commence and continue for another year once the Renewal Fee is paid, and when the previous Registration Period expires. Registration Periods and Renewal Fees are set by My Animal Family in its sole discretion and are subject to change.

ADDITIONAL PURCHASES OF BOOKS
The My Animal Family web site is designed so a child can select from several different "habitats" or game sites to play on. Each habitat is unique and features different animals, games and activities. You may purchase one or all the titles in the series and activate the habitat by entering the secret code that comes with the book.

Each time you purchase a different volume (book) in the My Animal Family book series, you may activate the habitat for that book by entering in the secret code card number as outlined above. As with all volumes, the Registration Period and access to the animal habitat will be valid for twelve (12) months following the date that the habitat is activated. Registration Periods are one year for each volume only and not cumulative. For example, if you purchase 2 volumes and register them at the same time, the Registration Period would be twelve months for each habitat, not a cumulative twenty-four months for each habitat.

Each habitat should be registered under your child's original user name and password. If you register a book with a different user name and password, a new account is established and will not be connected with your previous account. This means that you can only access one habitat at a time and earn points and spend the points on an account-by-account basis. Renewing or extending the term of one account does not renew or extend any other account you have on the website.

EXPIRATION OF REGISTRATION PERIOD
When your Registration Period expires for a particular habitat, you may reactivate the habitat by paying a renewal fee. Further details regarding renewal fees, renewal periods and method of payment, are provided on the website.

My Animal Family reserves the right to suspend any account that has been inactive for a six month period or more. You may reactivate the suspended account by following the simple directions found on this website and as long as the Registration Period has not expired.

NON TRANSFERABLE OF ACCOUNTS AND POINTS
All accounts, user names, passwords, points (earned when child plays games) and virtual items that the child purchases on the web site are not transferable between accounts. The points the child earns playing the games in the various habitats, have no retail or cash value.

PERSONAL, NON-COMMERCIAL USE LICENSE AND RESTRICTIONS
We maintain this website for you and your child's personal enjoyment, benefit, information, education and communication. You may download material displayed on our site for non-commercial, personal use, provided you also retain all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in the material. It is strictly prohibited to modify, transmit, distribute, reuse, re-post, "frame" or use the content of this site for any public or commercial purposes including text, images, audio and/or video without our written permission.
